# About SQL Trailheads

SQL Trailheads is a technical blog with hands-on, practical tutorials on SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle PL/SQL, NoSQL databases, and running databases in Docker.

## What you'll find here

Every post here started as something I actually needed to figure out myself: how a stored procedure really works, why a query is slow, when NoSQL genuinely beats a relational database, how to get PostgreSQL and PostGIS running locally in Docker without losing an hour to the setup. Nothing here is purely theoretical — every tutorial is something I've run myself, in a real terminal, usually because I needed the answer first.

## Who writes this

I'm Agustín Bottos, a Business Intelligence developer and data professional based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I started coding when I was fifteen, and SQL has been part of nearly every job I've had since — including several years working as a BI/data developer at BBVA Argentina, one of the largest banks in the region, where I worked daily with SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle PL/SQL, and Teradata. I've also done freelance SQL and data work — query optimization, data analysis, and reporting — for clients outside the bank.
